when i read the title i thought it was a self-portrait
beautiful and coherent work as usual

My landscape is a hand with no lines,
The roads bunched to a knot,
The knot myself,

Myself the rose you acheive---
This body,
This ivory

Ungodly as a child's shriek.

Hi Penelope, I actually do all my collage work by hand (paper, scissors, glue, acrylic finishes, etc.). I have to use
computers so much in my work day, that I keep the fine art, low tech. Thanks for the interest, it means a lot. I look
forward to seeing more of your work and sharing a art dialogue as well.

My best - Charles :halfliquid:

Thank you Ricardo, I work by traditional methods only. I love the process
of many files of images, scissors, clue, and cigar boxes filled with
tools, etc. I do love having a single original piece, even though digital copies
may be rendered from it. I am constantly hunting for new images and this
allows me to keep my "artist eye" open throughout my day. This is only my
preference and I certainly respect all ways of creating art. My best - Charles

Thank you very much for your explanation Charles, I always wonder your process and I appreciate artisan's work. I am lazy now and felt in the digital arms completely, but for example last weekend I build a nice pinhole lens for my digital camera so it was fun to do some pictures that way. a Mix of 19 century with 21st technology working together... Have a great weekend!

The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely.
All art is quite useless.
